Results and discussion. The purpose of the article is to determine the current state of the property insurance market in Ukraine, analyze the problems and challenges that hinder its development, and develop recommendations for improving the efficiency of insurance mechanisms. To achieve this goal, the article uses an interdisciplinary approach, which includes systematic and comparative analysis, as well as statistical assessment of market dynamics.
The article notes that the main obstacles to the development of property insurance in Ukraine are low public awareness, limited availability of insurance products, insufficient digitalization, and distrust of insurance companies. An important aspect is the harmonization of legislation with European standards and the development of reinsurance.
The main results of the study are to determine the prospects for market development through the introduction of digital technologies, increasing financial literacy of the population and creating affordable insurance products. The author also recommends strengthening state control over the activities of insurers and ensuring transparency of their work, which will help strengthen public confidence in the industry.
Conclusions. The proposed systemic changes and the integration of innovative approaches into the property insurance sector can not only improve the efficiency of the market, but also contribute to the economic recovery of Ukraine. The results of the study may be useful for insurers, government agencies and other stakeholders interested in the development of the insurance sector.
