CONDITIONS FOR FOSTERING INTENTIONAL AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, AS WELL AS ATTAINING DESIRED COMPETITIVE AND REPUTATIONAL ADVANTAGES BY A LEGAL ENTITY

Abstract

Introduction. In the context of economic globalization and pervasive digitalization, new challenges arise for the leadership of any legal entity. These challenges are associated with the need for timely and professionally adequate evaluation of the components of the basic administrative management system and the characteristics of the production profile, as the main elements of the content-methodological foundation. This evaluation is necessary to ensure the effectiveness of the overall organizational management system through the comprehensive, optimally adapted application of the theoretical and methodological-applied potential of the tools for organizing productive and efficient activities. Equally important is ensuring the effectiveness of modern technological means for sustainable development and achieving desired competitive and reputational advantages.

Materials and methods. An analysis of scientific sources indicates that studies on the conditions for comprehensive support of targeted sustainable development and the attainment of desired competitive and reputational advantages have been practically non-existent. The work of researchers has enabled the authors to justify the objective necessity of a more effective and applied implementation of such an order and to propose it for the improvement of the theoretical and methodological foundations of administrative management, with the aim of enhancing the practical outcomes of legal entities. To achieve this, appropriate scientific methods were employed, namely: the terminological method, the abstract-logical method, the monographic method, the dialectical method of understanding processes and phenomena, and the tabular method.

Results and discussion. The definitions of the terms “basic system of administrative management of an enterprise (organization, institution)” and “production profile of an enterprise (organization, institution)” have been clarified. The authors also propose their own interpretations of the terms “total digital transformation (digitalization) of an enterprise (organization, institution)” and “resources (components) of total digitalization of an enterprise (organization, institution)”. Their interrelationship has been substantiated. A list of key criteria indicating the stability of competitive and reputational advantages in the context of the global economy and pervasive digitalization has been determined. The main principles and mechanisms inherent to the digital economy have been summarized and refined. Emphasis has been placed on the need to employ, in a professionally adapted manner, on practice, the compositional laws and principles of administrative management, which are systematized and presented in the author's interpretation, for the implementation of a comprehensive organizational management system that contributes to sustainable development and the attainment of desired competitive and reputational advantages, in addition to the aforementioned. It is emphasized that provided there is a clear understanding, it is necessary to undertake administrative measures for the official and documentary standardization of such procedures.

Conclusions. The content presented in the article should prompt all stakeholders of any legal entity, especially the management body, to consciously and responsibly evaluate the place and role of each individual indicator of the basic administrative management system in fostering sustainable development and achieving desired competitive and reputational advantages. To achieve this, the authors recommend that the staff members responsible for this direction of work develop a Regulation “On the Information Policy of the enterprise (organization, institution)” as well as a practical and professional “roadmap” to ensure timely, rational, and optimally adapted implementation of the proposed measures.
